We have just finished a brand new tune that we call Fourtyfour Sixteen. Kind of a strange song title, huh? Well, the title actually derives from the song's main time signature, which is 44/16. Or one could argue that the time sig alternates between 27/16 and 17/16, but we found it easier to keep track of what we were doing when we counted 44/16. Oh well, let's not debate music theory.
